3D art sketchbook assignment list
3D ART SKETCHBOOK ASSIGNMENTS!
Sketchbook assignments are due every Thursday!
Choose a sculpture from the list (any sculpture, no need to go in order), draw a picture of it (either the whole sculpture, or just a part of it, if it is a really complicated sculpture), and answer the following questions:
-
Describe it: What does it look like? What is it made out of? Size? Style? Etc.
-
What is its purpose or meaning? (You will have to do some light research for this! Sometimes it will be hard to find the exact meaning of a sculpture, so you can look for what that artist was interested in in general and make inferences).
-
Do you like it? Why or why not?
You must spend at least 20-30 minutes on your assignment.
You must the page with the title and artist of the artwork you chose and the date.
Make sure I know which page to look at - use a book mark, paperclip, or fold the page corner.
